Malama Na Ohana:

In our culture "taking care of family" is the most important value that we are taught.  Our organization want to enhance our way of life by taking our belief "one step" further. We want our youths to "malama" them self "first,” be “pono,” then help our ohana, and anyone else who needs help, "second." To continue to spread our "aloha," and share our culture.

   Example:
Scenario is this; if a person is "sick, not well, frustrated, not happy, hurt,
under the influence, no money, no food, not normal, incarcerated and personal
needs not met" that person is not able to take care of anyone but them
self.  However when all that persons "needs" are met, then that person is able
to help family, friends and the rest of our community.

Tiger - represents respect, courage, and power. The Tigers rage is terrible but it also gives them the adrenaline needed for the sublimest of bravery. The Tiger is also a deep thinker and can make the most astonishing intellectual connections, with great mental agility. Above everything, however, the Tiger stands as a supreme emblem of protection over human life.

Mano - "the shark"

Ultimate Hunter -

Fearless, patient, and precise.  Surveys territory, and protects it.  Takes what it needs, and not what it wants.  However quick to be in a frenzy when provoked.  Beautiful animal in the ocean, a symbol of strength, and grace.  Aumakua for some, and feared by the rest.
