Malama Na Ohana:
In our culture "taking care of family" is the most important value that we are taught. Our organization want to enhance our way of life by taking our belief "one step" further. We want our youths to "malama" them self "first,” be “pono,” then help our ohana, and anyone else who needs help, "second." To continue to spread our "aloha," and share our culture.
Example: Scenario is this; if a person is "sick, not well, frustrated, not happy, hurt, under the influence, no money, no food, not normal, incarcerated and personal needs not met" that person is not able to take care of anyone but them self. However when all that persons "needs" are met, then that person is able to help family, friends and the rest of our community.
